Das Big Match: Bayern Munich host surprise league leaders Hoffenheim
Bundesliga, 7.30pm, Setanta Sports 1, Best Odds, Free Bets
Newly-promoted Hoffenheim, whose town has a population of 3,272, tonight host title favourites Bayern Munich in a battle of the Bundesliga top two.
Earlier this season Bayern Munich boss Jurgen Klinsmann’s job was supposedly under threat after a slow start but they are now the form team in the division with seven wins from their last eight.
The reigning champions have been installed as general 8/13 favourites but Hoffenheim won’t be rolling over.
They too have won seven of their last eight and although they have lost three away games this season, they have won three of their last four on the road and scored six goals in the three games where they were beaten.
Bayern Munich have dropped more points at the Allianz Arena than they have away from home too, with them averaging two points at home compared to 2.13 away. Whatever happens Hoffenheim, 9/2 with Bet365, 888sport and Ladbrokes, will keep the fairytale alive and stay on top unless they are beaten by four goals or more, a margin Klinsmann has yet to have won by.
