Tottenham’s revival under Redknapp could be finished
The stats show alarming similarities with twelve months ago
chickendinner thought that after ten Premier League games at White Hart Lane, it was a good time to examine Harry Redknapp’s performance as Tottenham manager and we were shocked by what we found.
Redknapp’s record from his first ten league games for the club reads five wins, two draws and three defeats, which is identical to Juande Ramos’ performance when he first arrived in North London.
The tenth game of the Ramos reign was similar to that of Redknapp’s too, with Spurs losing 2-1 away to Aston Villa after the home side scored a late winner.
Spurs never lived up to their promising start under Ramos, with that defeat leading to a run of five wins in the following 25 league games before the Spaniard was sacked a year to the day after Martin Jol, who incidentally opened with a superior record of six wins, one draw and three losses, was dismissed.
Has Redknapp enjoyed a similarly deceptive start or is he going to take Tottenham back into the upper reaches of the table. Let us know what you think with a comment below.

Ha ha ha,
Well you could learn to write properly and then check out Spurs’ splendid Christmas form and the purchasing of that unspeakable mercenary Defoe.
Lazy was sacking Jol then Ramos (who actually won something for the first time since whenever). Welcome to the new Newcastle.
