Picking out just one away winner in Europe is a tough task, attempting to find three – all at odds of evens or greater – is just asking to be humiliated, but we’re willing go for glory and live with the shame if it all ends miserably.

Our first pick is Roma, who having won their last nine matches in all competitions, look ominously like the kind of team we can rely on. They’re off to Greece to face Panathinaikos, who were beaten at home by Kavala at the weekend, and look great value at 6/4 on Bet365.

Then there’s Benfica, another team who are flying. They did the double over

Why Genoa will boot Valencia out of the Europa League

Genoa’s formidable home record means that there is a strong chance that David Villa and co will exit Europe before Christmas.

Some bookmakers have named Valencia as second favourites to win the Europa League, even with the inclusion of eight Champions League dropouts, but their contribution to the tournament could end tonight.

We expect them to be beaten by Genoa tonight, meaning that a Lille win over Slavia Prague would leave them free to “focus on the league”. The Italians are 2.98 (just shy of 2/1) to win tonight on Betfair - here’s why that’s great value:

» They’ve lost just once at home all season - against Inter Milan

» The Rossoblu have also won all three of their Europa League games at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Spurs are 3/1 to reach Europe having fought off relegation

A season that started so horribly could end on a high for Spurs

The title race is alive again and nine teams are still fighting relegation but there’s another thrilling battle taking place with Wigan, West Ham, Fulham, Manchester City and Tottenham battling it out for the final European place.

Five months ago Spurs were such a laughing stock that even The Guardian published pages of jokes about them but the North London side are 3/1 joint-favourites with Paddy Power to have the last laugh and finish seventh.

They are currently joint with Man City (38 points - 10/3) just three points behind Wigan (41 - 3/1) and West Ham (41 - 7/2), who are a point above Fulham (40 - 5/1). The lowest ever total required to finish seventh in a Premier League season has been 53, which would mean Spurs picking up another 15 points.

Do you think Spurs can win five of their remaining eight games? If so then click here to take advantage of a matched bet of up to £25 when opening a Paddy Power account.
