Spurs and Chelsea stars hit the tiles
Last night Chelsea managed to join Spurs in the Carling Cup semi-final, and players from both teams joined forces with a celebratory night out at London’s Chinawhite. Pictured above is Jermain Defoe, who has no problem with wearing a baseball cap in a nightclub, or sharing a cab with a lady who looks like she charges by the hour.
Jermain’s WAG Danielle Lloyd was noticeably absent, but his scorned fiancé Charlotte Mears did turn up to show off her new figure (read: giant rack). Jermain was joined by teammates Ledley King and Jermaine Jenas, plus Chelsea rival Shaun Wright-Phillips.
The footballers had a night of midweek moderation, except for Ledley, who was carried out of the club under a jacket with his untied shoes falling off.
Other folks who don’t have a job to go to and so can afford to live it up on a Wednesday night in Piccadilly included Big Brother’s Chantelle Houghton and WAG-wannabe-glamour-model-type Monica Harris.

Can I just correct you on your stereotyping idealisms? Not every Glamour Model is a layabout who does nothing all day but aspire to be a WAG. I for one, am sick and tired of seeing models being tarred with the same brush by people who are ignorant to how much work these girls do. I've known of Monica Harris for a few years and followed her career in the same time frame. There's not a day that goes by where she doesn't work on her career, attend castings, attend photoshoots, various weeks and weekends doing promotional work at conventions or venues. In fact the event that you so vulturously covered on the 24th January was an evening where she was working as its Host (but you probably wouldn't be aware of that as the definition of an enjoyable evening to the likes of your industry (yes I can stereotype as well) is standing outside clubs for hours like hanger's on, waiting to see who you can make most money out of by their drunkeness). And as far as aspiring to be a WAG, Monica is quoted as saying she'd rather have her eyes poked out by a blunt object than be linked with an STD riddled footballer. Besides, isn't it a bit of a contradiction in terms saying people who 'do not have a job to go to' are able to afford to go out at evenings? I suggest in future before making foregone conclusions about people, that you first do your research as a proper journalist and prove that the press do in fact look into the background to their stories and not just dwell outside London's hotspots and revell in people's misfortunes, turning an enjoyable evening into a morning missery.
